Functional-semantic field "legalization of drugs" in the English language political discourse

The article deals with analysis of functional-semantic field for the concept "legalization of drugs" in the English-language political discourse. Consequences of marijuana legalization in some states of the USA are taken into account. Besides, the author gives ground to the necessity of further English-language discourse analysis. The next conclusion is drawn: the concept "legalization of drugs" belongs to the language semantic categories and is important for studying the English-language political discourse.
