The article is devoted to the study of tropes, which are placed in a separate group and are considered as major components of the functional-semantic field of satirical connotations (FSPSC), its definition is given, a dominant, a periphery and a marginal zone of FSPSC are discovered, the formulas of tropes related to the dominant of FSPSC are deduced.
