Introduction. The article deals with the assessment of the functional state of the liver and kidneys in patients who underwent laparoscopic sanitation program of the abdominal cavity with the use of low-frequency ultrasound energy, and in patients undergoing relaparotomy about the progression of diffuse peritonitis. Materials and Methods. The analysis of treatment of 36 patients with peritonitis of various origins (the main group), which were applied programmed laparoscopic rehabilitation using ultrasound, and 56 patients who underwent programmed relaparotomy (control group) was performed. Results. It was found that when using the laparoscopic sanations with ultrasound in the early postoperative period observed significantly better indicators of liver and kidney failure, which resulted in an authentic decrease in the severity of endogenous intoxication syndrome, and therefore relatively better clinical outcome (shorten hospital stay 6, 4 bed days, reduced mortality by 7,4 %).
