Blood phagocyte functional reserve of Holstein bulls in the normal and pathologic condition

The extreme degree of phagocyte-mediated protection insolvency is found in bulls culled due to infectious diseases. It was manifested by the levelcoincidence ofstimulated and basal chemiluminescence response of blood phagocytes. The reserve of blood phagocyte free radical activity measured by the range of responses in the basal and stimulated state, may serve as a marker of the whole organism resistance reduction.
