This article presents an attempt to analyze an animated film “Adagio” by G. Bardin. The given text of culture is a synthesis of sound, paper plastic and color. “Adagio” by G. Bardin is viewed from the perspective of modus stratification of the portrait genre, within which the presentation of a personality is materialized.
