G. Simmel & S. Freud about origins of conflict

This article covers issues of people uncooperative behavior origins in the context of papers of G. Simmel and S. Freud, which are based on the concept of natural people hostility. Theories of conflict's origins are considered with 4 types of conflict: intrapersonal, interpersonal, intergroup and conflict between personality and social group. Main structural elements of these conceptions are determined. Similarities and differences between approaches of these authors, issues of their practical and theoretical importance are disclosed. It's noticed prevalence of irrational factors in initiation of conflict. The paper is based on personality theory of S. Freud & «Der Mensch als Feind » of G. Simmel.
