Harmonization and unification of the definition of spiritual values: the sociological approach

The article considers the possibility of concretizing the concepts of spirituality and spiritual values that are difficult for science. For this purpose, the author conducts a review of scientific approaches to the categories under consideration, highlights their leading characteristics, and gives the own definition. On the base of theoretical analysis, the article carries out an empirical detailing of the concept of spirituality, which allows us to proceed to the final fragmentation into indivisible operational indicators, depending on the specific subject of the study, which has its own goals and specific socio-demographic characteristics.
