Harmonization of interethnic relations as a factor accelerating formation of all-Russian civic identity

The article analyzes interethnic relations in modern Russia; highlights the peculiarities of the natio-nal (ethnic) policy of the Russian Federation in comparison with the concepts of solving the national issue common in the West; identifies ways to harmonize national relations; considers factors and ways of accelerated formation of the all-Russian civic identity.
