Gas hydrates and their environmental significance

In this article pays much attention to gas hydrates which are alternative sources of energy and permanent components of the ecosystem, for example Lake Baikal. The main task is studying the problem of production gas hydrates in the Baikal area, which can damage ecology of the region.
