Gamifi cation: An Innovative Approach to Increasing Student Motivation and Engagement in the Educational Process

This article examines the use of gaming technologies in the educational process at a technical university to enhance the motivation and engagement of students of Generations Y and Z. The article presents the results of experimental research aimed at studying the impact of gaming technologies incorporated into educational content on student performance and motivation. Gamifi cation has proven its effectiveness as a digital pedagogy tool used when working with the digital generation. It concludes that a systematic approach to gamifi cation is necessary, taking into account pedagogical feasibility and teachers' readiness to design game scenarios. The findings highlight the need for further development of gamifi cation solutions as a sustainable component of the modern educational environment.
