Hematological and hemostasiological features of pigs during the vegetable nutrition phase

Бесплатный доступ

Maintaining homeostasis in plant-fed piglets is possible if they have an optimum of various hematological parameters. The functional capabilities of primary hemostasis are of great importance in this regard. In the blood of piglets during the phase of plant nutrition, a decrease in plasma peroxidation was noted as a result of an increase in its antioxidant properties. At this age in the blood of piglets there is an increase in the amount of total protein, albumin, levels of urea, triglycerides and cholesterol with a stable glucose concentration. At this stage of ontogenesis, these animals are characterized by a balance of the simultaneous increase in the ability of platelets to aggregate and the disaggregation properties of blood vessels. The adequacy of the dynamics of platelet aggregation and changes in the disaggregation function of blood vessels revealed in piglets during the phase of plant nutrition can be largely ensured by maintaining a strict optimum of the main hematological constants in them.
