Gender asymmetry in higher education

This article deals with the issue of gender asymmetry in the system of Russian higher education. Presents the comparative analysis of the status and role positions of men and women in higher educational institutions. According to statistics in the international educational environment observed the following trend: management positions in the majority of cases are occupied by men, and the position of the teaching staff are women.
