The article describes gender ideology and the attitude of modern bioethics to it. The meaning and character of gender ideology, which is destructive both for society as a whole and for an individual person, is demonstrated. It is shown that this ideology is particularly dangerous for children and young people. The pronounced anti-family nature of the gender movement is also illustrated. The role of modern bioethics and its relation to gender ideology is described. It is shown that modern Western secular bioethics has turned from an impartial semantic field designed to analyze bioethical problems into a tool for the retransmission of secular ideas, and in particular, the idea of gender. The author shows the healing role of Christian bioethics and outlines the ways in which this discipline can counteract the destructive impact of gender ideology. The tasks that face the bioethics of Orthodox Christianity and that are necessary for this scientific discipline not to lose its purpose in the face of militant secularism are formulated.
