Gender aspects of the concept of comparative values of labor (based on RF materials)

The article analyzes gender inequality in the Russian Federation in the field of economy and politics for 10 years. The Gender Gap Index is used to measure gender equality in the country. A low index indicates a continuing discrimination of women who want to occupy high and responsible positions. The main factors of the current state of affairs, according to authors’ opinion are: the traditional personnel policy of firms, stereotypes about the role of women in society.
