Gender and tolerant characteristics of regional education entities

The results of the research of gender stereotypes and identity of educational process participants (school-children, teachers, parents and students), carried out in schools, colleges and universities of Mordovia, are presented in the article. High level of disputed cases, conditioned by lack of coincidence within gender roles, is revealed. Methods for the development of gender tolerance in the educational process are offered. Gender component for professional pedagogical education is elaborated.
