Resume: It is known that there are features of risk factors, the clinic and the course of acute myocardial infarction in men and women in various age groups. In men and women, an increase in age is associated with a more severe course of myocardial infarction. However, women are characterized by a greater increase in severity. The frequency of detecting a low ejection fraction (less than 40%) in older women is 2.7 times higher than in young women; in men - only 1.8 times. The course of myocardial infarction with an increase in the 8T segment in women aged 65 years and older compared with men of the same age is characterized by more frequent (1.4 times) manifestations of class II acute heart failure according to CJS, while in men I is more often recorded class "Women 65 years of age and older are characterized by a 1.5 times greater frequency of detection of renal dysfunction compared to men of the same age.
