Gender preferences of modern schoolboys when choosing a profile of education

The article deals with the problem of professional self-determination of high school students in the context of a dynamically changing labor market and educational services. The results of a study carried out using computer testing of schoolchildren aged 14-17 are presented. It is statistically confirmed that young men are more interested in the professions of three spheres: "technology", "business" and "sign". They are more consistent with "engineering", "information technology", "natural technology" and "financial and economic" training profiles. Girls have a more pronounced interest in professions of two types: "nature" and "artistic image". They are recommended "natural science", "social and humanitarian", "linguistic" and "creative" training profiles.
