Gender approach in educating teaching manpower

The article considers the importance of developing gender approach in education which allows taking into account the abilities, opportunities and educational needs of males and females. The role of a modern educational institution in the system of forming the gender subjective consciousness is revealed. Various forms of gender education of teaching manpower are presented; it includes teachers of higher educational institutions, school teachers and psychologists, and also students of teacher training institutions.
