Genetic predictors of development and severity of chronic cardiac failure

The study focused on the impact of multiform versions of ИЛ-1β gene and Glu298Asp multiformity of eNOS gene on the risk of development and severity of chronic cardiac failure (CCF). Sampling of genetic material (bucal epithelium) was carried out in 165 patients with CCF of varied severity, which was followed by typing alleles of eNOS (Glu298Asp) gene and ИЛ-1β (С+3953Т) gene. It was found out that multiformity of ИЛ-1β and eNOS genes was related to the risk of CCF development and severity.
