For several years, at the V.S. Pustovoit AllRussian Research Institute of Oil Crops we have been developing the lines resistant to race G of broomrape. Previously, we established incomplete dominance of the resistance trait in lines RGP1, RGP2, RGB, RGL1, RGL2 in F1 The aim of the work was to study the genetic control of resistance to race G of broomrape in these sunflower lines in generations F2 and BC1. The research material was F1 progeny from crossing of resistant lines with susceptible ones. We applied the method of A.Ya. Panchenko to test the resistance of plants to broomrape. We conducted the mathematical processing of the results using the χ2-criterion. It showed that broomrape is not always affecting genotypes heterozygous by resistance gene. Therefore, we combined into one intermediate group resistant plants and plants with incomplete resistance to correctly evaluate the results of splitting. In seven back crossings of the first generation, plants were split into two phenotypic groups: susceptible and intermediate in a 1 : 1 ratio...
