The inheritance, specific and general combinative capacity (GCC) in 8 maize lines of different ecology-geographic origin from collection of All-Russian Scientific Research Institute of Maize were estimated on productivity and resistance to stem rot, fusariosis, spadices gibberelosis, cottonworm moth and 1 generation of maize butterfly. The additive, dominant and additive-dominant genes effects were revealed, which determined the resistance to vermins. The maize lines RGS 201 M and GP 510 having the best indices on GCC should be of great utility as source of group and complex resistance; the line RS 273 M is useful as source of moderate complex resistance, which appears at the high GCC on productivity.
