The issue of genesis of the upbringing values in Russian peasant families is considered as the most important component of a historical and cultural process. The justification of historical periods is closely connected to the stages of the economic colonization of a state territory by Russian peasants. This colonization determined the typology of Russian peasant families in the structure of peasant communities and influenced the content of upbringing values in Russian peasant families.
