In M. Foucault, the concept of "episteme" and the program of archaeology of knowledge the genesis of the humanities

The article introduces readers to the ideas of Michel Foucault, which he expressed in his books, devoted to the problem of «archeology of knowledge». This problem the scientist considered in the monograph «The Order of Things: An Archaeology of the Human Sciences» (1966) most fully. He identified four types of similarity that are characteristic of the medieval category of similarity. Scientist has identified three episteme in the European culture of New time.
