Genesis and development of the right to legal aid

Purpose: Consideration of questions of emergence and development of the right to legal aid. Methodology: Such methods of knowledge as legallistic, historical, comparative and legal were used. Results: In article factors which influenced emergence of institute of legal aid as constitutional right of the person and the citizen are defined; are found out what main stages there passed this right in the course of the development and as at the same time changed, features and types of its realization in concrete historical stages are revealed, tendencies of further development of the right for legal aid are predicted.
