The issue about the primacy and relationships of ideas vs. things is essential and just as relevant as, e.g., the dilemma of "work - game" in the origin of art. Primeval art is examined on the example of Franco-Cantabria region in paleolithic epoch. Until 1959, the monuments of prehistoric art was known only in the mountain massif of southern France and northern Spain. Therefore, the Franco-Cantabria region was to play a crucial role in the development of ancient fine art. Regional art of that era is one of the initial sources of the phenomenon of "creative economy", highly topical by nowadays, as a form of creative cognition of ecumene (inhabited world). As a result of millennia of labor activity, ability to generalize and figuratively reproduce objects (things) turns art into a form of aesthetic perception of the world. The final thing as the material embodiment of the artist's thoughts reflects human interaction with the surrounding reality.
