This article analytically examines the development of Chinese musical culture and highlights its contemporary cultural and phenomenological status. By analyzing the origins, evolution, and modern transformation of Chinese musical culture, it reveals its profound cultural connotations and unique artistic charm. Confucianism and Taoism, embodying the cosmological view of “harmony between heaven and humanity”, have influenced Chinese musical culture. Its aesthetic and practical approaches share a deep resonance with the phenomenological methods of “intuition” and “eidetic reduction”. Throughout history, Chinese musical culture has continuously absorbed and integrated diverse cultural elements, forming a distinctive aesthetic system and expressive style. In the context of contemporary society, Chinese musical culture faces dual challenges of preservation and innovation, requiring both the retention of traditional essence and adaptation to modern aesthetic demands. This study holds significant importance for understanding the intrinsic characteristics and developmental patterns of Chinese musical culture, while also providing theoretical insights for promoting the modern transformation of traditional Chinese music.
