Genesis of a conspiracy novel

The paper considers an issue of genre affiliation of modern conspiracy novels. The purpose is to legitimize the genre by identifying its genesis. The study analyzed three components: 1) non-fiction books on conspiracy theory; 2) the mass literary formulas; 3) other literary genres (fairy tale, gothic novel, tale of chivalry, everyday life’ novel, dystopia). Analysis of structural genesis of conspiracy novel based on subject’ organization was implemented for the first time.
