This article deals with the state regulation in the sphere of investors’ rights protection in the securities market. It highlights key trends in the development processes of the state regulation aimed at protecting the rights and legitimate interests of investors. It discusses the need for improvement of these processes in order to increase investment activity in the Russian Federation.
