Henryk wieniawski: the experience of biographic research

In this scientific article the biographical method of research analyzes the creative path of the outstanding violinist and composer Henryk Wieniawski - one of the most striking figures of virtuoso-romantic violin art of the first half of the 19th century. Wieniawski created about 40 works, some of them remained unpublished. His works are actively present in the repertory plan of students of final classes of schools and students of secondary and higher educational institutions. Both concerts and many plays - lyrical and pronounced virtuosic and genre character - help the young musician to master the virtuoso abilities of the violin. In all genres, which appealed to Wieniawski, the Polish national composer was affected. Wieniawski-violinist made a fascinating impression on listeners with the beauty of the singing sound, the perfection of technique and the emotionality of the game. Author's compositions and romantic style of performance showed expressive and technically virtuosic possibilities of violin. The desire for external virtuosity was alien to him, and he sought to reveal, first of all, the richness of the emotional content of the work. Wieniawski's instrumentalism distinguished grace, lightness and elegance. These virtues of the work of G. Wieniawski had an invaluable influence on the development of all the violin art. The flowering of his performing, pedagogical and composer creativity was closely connected with Russia. Strong Polish national motives, close connection with the French musical tradition allowed G. Wieniawski to gain international significance in the history of violin art.
