Geoinformation methods for studying the demographic burden on the able-bodied population of the Volgograd region

In this article, the demographic burden on the able-bodied population of the Volgograd region was analyzed using GIS technologies. The indicators for the study were the coefficient of child workload, the coefficient of pension burden, as well as the general coefficient of demographic burden on the working-age population. Conclusions are drawn about the pronounced trend of population aging.
