Geoecological assessment of TKO handling experience in the urbanized region of the Russian Federation

The presented work provides an analytical review and assessment of the experience in the management of municipal solid waste (MSW) in the Sverdlovsk region. The current achievements of the region in the field of MSW management and management are considered in the dynamics of MSW education and processing for 2017-2022 and the changes in the characteristics of MSW management and processing before, and, during the period of reform of production and consumption waste management in the Russian Federation. The obtained scientific and technological result leads to the understanding that the share of recycled waste should be increased. The introduction of modern technologies for the processing and disposal of MSW indicates the improvement of waste management methods in the Sverdlovsk region. Project measures in the region aimed at improving the efficiency of waste management are being considered. It is recommended to introduce modern technologies, both in recycling and in waste disposal. It is of interest to environmental users and the population of urbanized territories.
