This study explores how the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) is reshaping the geo-economic landscape and integration processes in Central Asia. Particular attention is given to the shift from traditional bilateral agreements to more structured forms of regional interaction with elements of macroregional integration. Drawing on statistical indicators and economic data collected over the past five years, the research traces changes in trade flows, transport and energy infrastructure, as well as institutional arrangements that underpin deeper interdependence between China and the Central Asian states. The analysis demonstrates that the region is no longer functioning merely as a transit corridor, but is gradually consolidating its position as a strategically significant macroregional hub within Eurasia. This transformation is associated with expanding infrastructure connectivity, the development of industrial cooperation, and the growing involvement of Central Asia in global production and distribution networks.
