Geometric interpretation of a two-criterion discrete problem

Бесплатный доступ

The geometric interpretation of the general two-criterion discrete (Boolean) problem is constructed in the article. The idea of the construction is to reduce a multi-criteria task to a single-criteria one. Images of acceptable solutions to the final problem on the plane with corresponding points, and criteria and constraints with straight lines. Then the analysis is performed according to the figure and the optimal solution of both single-criteria and two-criteria problems is determined. A specific task of this class is solved in the described way. The results of the solution of which are confirmed with the help of a program developed in lp_solve.
