Geometric model of the beehive with thermophysical characteristics

The wintering of bees, namely the temperature regime inside the hive, ventilation, etc., remains urgent. Based on the obtained data, a geometrical model of the beehive was built with the possibility of its further use in the software package Ansys Multyphysics, in the COMSOL environment. Dependence between the geometry of the bee club and the temperature of the ambient air is deduced. When the temperature is lowered, worker bees gather in a specific aggregation, thereby protecting themselves from hypothermia. Equations are obtained for modeling the thermal state of bees in winter in the North Caucasus and for determining the power of electrical heating of hives.
