The geopolitical aspects of the Russian-Iranian relationships in the context of the security threats in the south of Russia

The article deals with current the geopolitical aspects of the Russian-Iranian relationships in the context of the security threats in the South of Russia. Considering the historical experience, we have studied the interstate relations between Russia and Iran. There have been identified and analyzed potential problem areas in the process of the development of the Russian-Iranian relations and strategic partnership.
