Germany and transformation processes in security: the approach of Heiko Maas

The research analyzes the proposals of the Foreign Minister of the Federal Republic of Germany Heiko Maas in the field of security. The author proves that the well-known arguments about the unpredictable nature of tectonic changes in the world and failure of different actors to address security challenges must be viewed very critically. The promotion of the Alliance of Multilateralists by H. Maas and the Foreign Office of Germany makes it evident that Germany is looking for new effective alliances and partners. To fulfill the purpose of the study, all available interviews of the Foreign Minister Heiko Maas have been studied. The author refrains from the theoretical analysis of the subject matter and practical advice since the approach of H. Maas is one possible future option, notwithstanding its official nature.
