Germany and transformation processes in security: the approach of the green party

The paper continues a series of studies on current approaches to transforming security in the Federal Republic of Germany. The novelty of the study is to analyze the views of the Green Party. The Greens advocate rational pacifism and understand security in the context of the second (controlled) wave of globalization and the anticipated struggle among the globalization projects of the future. This requires European strategic independence and correspondingly functioning supranational instruments. The Greens’ key policy documents are considered. The author refrains from the theoretical analysis of the subject matter and practical advice since the approach of the Green Party is one possible future option.
