Personage-author in the works of Pushkin, Goncharov and Nabokov

Genre reflection typical for metanovel appears in Nabokov's works in various ways. The article is devoted to the one which connects XXth century writer with the author he seems to have nothing in common with - I. A. Goncharov. Their coming together doesn't seem strange anymore, taking in account that one of the most important guidelines for both of them was Pushkin's «Eugene Onegin».
