A hybrid of ornamental sunflower Rumyanetz

The ornamental hybrid Rumyanetz was developed by crossing of two parental lines LD110 and LD120, with further convertation of the female line on CMS RIG. Main decorative traits of the hybrid Rumyanetz are total branching, a large number of inflorescences per plant, crimson color of ray flowers, a long flowering. The hybrid is of a late maturity group. All-Russian Research Institute of Oil Crops by the name of Pustovoit V.S. is the originator of the hybrid of decorative sunflower Rumyanetz submitted to the State Commission Variety Trials in 2017.
