Kostomuksha water reservoir hydrobiocenoses (White Sea water basin) in the conditions of technogenic pollution

The state of Kostomuksha water reservoir ecosystem in the conditions of technogenic pollution is analyzed. It is shown that water reservoir pollution (mainly mineral) led to simplification of aquatic communities structure, namely to decrease in species diversity, disappearance of stenobiontic species, both as a part of plankton and benthos, and in the fish population. The impoverished species structure and low quantitative indices of communities testify to their depression.
