Hydrorehabilitation - health stage of sports swimming: opportunities, efficiency

Currently, in the sphere of theory and practice of sports and health swimming there is an active search and new teaching methods development of physical capacity for children with disabilities. This article is dedicated to the hydrorehabilation issues. Hydrorehabilation is the education of children in water environment by means of water facilities. It is long-term process which includes transferring knowledge, skills and competency of moving, mental, intellectual and social activities from trainer to a disabled child (Mosunov D. F., 1998). The article shows the teaching technologies used during the water lessons for disabled children. It also presents the dynamic change in motor activity of such people in water and on the land caused by the rehabilitation classes. The efficiency of developed in this article methods and means is determined by their accessibility and ability to adopt according to the mental and physical child's readiness level.
