Hydrouretic renal function at various levels of activity of the nitric oxide system

Hydrouretic renal function of the inbred white rats is studied at various levels of activity of the nitric oxide system. Revealed a sex specificity of the physiological effects of NO synthase substrate L-arginine and blocker NOS L-NAME. At a load of L-arginine, increasing the concentration of nitrate and nitrite anions in the blood is accompanied by an increase in the amount of urine and decrease by NOS inhibition.
