Hygienic assessment of the drinking water in Tomsk

A comparative assessment of hygienic quality of river and artesian water in Tomsk supply system showed the advantage of using artesian water for drinking. However, the low levels of fluoride, sodium, and dry residue predetermine lack of physiological usefulness of artesian water for the prevention of diseases associated with the consumption of low-mineralized water.
