Morfometrical reserch of 102 human extraocular muscles tendons normally and in esotropia took place. It was discovered, that in esotropia the quantity of irregular connective tissue decreases concerning to collagen fibers. The quantity of elastic fibers and fibrocytic nucleuses also decreases. The changes are more expressive in monocular esotropia then in intermittent esotropia.
