The Gladius hispaniensis from a burial in the Kuban region

The paper describes artifacts from a Sarmatian warrior grave that was a secondary burial in a Bronze Age kurgan. The funerary assemblage included a ceramic jar and a sword that can be attributed to the Gladius Hispaniensis type based on its morphological characteristics. It is clear that this type of bladed weaponry appeared in the Kuban region during the Mithridatic wars.
