Verbs of the lexical semantic group “pressure”: valency

The article deals with the problem of interrelation of the semantics of Russian verbs belonging to the lexical semantic group “pressure” and their semantic actants: agents, partitives, instruments, methods. The author describes names of different thematic classes in the position of the agent with verbs belonging to the lexical semantic group “pressure”. The results of the research can be used in practice of compiling dictionaries, theory and practice of translation, theory of the category of voice.
