The verbs of speech in the Old Russian hagiographic text: functional-semantic aspect

The article deals with the verbs denoting speech acts in the text «Alexander Nevskii's Life». The author analyses their semantic structures in contextual realization, reveals their expressive and characterological function in the text, and proves that reconcepttialisation of these verbs as a result of the semantic derivation makes it possible to characterize social and interpersonal relations.
