The phenomenon of the main weapon of victory in the Great Patriotic War of1941-1945 is actualized with the help of problem-analytical research method.According to the author this weapon istheunbreakable friendship of nationalities and ethnic groups. Theauthor makes aconclusionthat it is necessary to preserve the traditions and enhance this friendship in modern Russia.
