Globalization and digital society: notes in the margin

The Editor-in-Chief of the journal A. Lapshin justifies the opening of a new program for the journal heading «Globalization and the Information Society». The author emphasizes the relevance of the problems of digitalization as both a sign and a driver of the fundamental restructuring of the world order, and writes about the deep, controversial ideological essence of the information society. So far, we do not know many of the risks that are associated with globalization and the digital society. The task of scientists, experts to point them out, and to map out ways to minimize their negative impact on a person, society and the world order. In this regard, the author encourages experts to a comprehensive study of this difficult reality and opens the ground for discussions.
