Globalization as a way of transition to a new quality of social development

The main characteristics of globalization and possible ways of its realization are explored in the article on the basis of the analysis of the philosophical literature. The author uses the comparative method to identify some similarities in the understanding of globalization processes in different conceptions, because the detection of these similarities indicates the objective existence of the relevant phenomena. Globalization is inherent feature of contemporary transitional period in social development. The author analyzes definitions of the globalization, explores the objects of globalization and the concrete features of globalization's process in nowadays, some possibilities (vectors) of the globalization's processes in the future.
